Forensic Audit 

  Forensic audit is different from the regular audit in the way that forensic audit goes in to deeper detail of the transactions and the reasoning behind the transactions.
Generally forensic audit is needed when their is suspected fraud or the financial information is in the very poor condition. 
Forensic auditor generally will analyze any major transactions and on the test basis analyze other transactions that could be manipulated. They will also identify any weaknesses in internal controls that could cause the possibility of fraud and find areas where fraud is likely to occur.
